Incorporating Smoke Curtains into Building Design
The normal maximum width for a single roller is 5.5 meter. For distances that are greater than 5.5 meter will be overcome by the overlapping of 2 or more rollers.
The overlap between rollers, as recommended by the British Standard, provides continuity of cover.
Installation of Smoke Curtains
Moke curtain galvanized (GI) steel box is used as a carrier for the smoke curtain unit. The curtain is mounted and self contained within the GI box, which is then mounted to the building structure.
The box will be supported by the usage of threaded rods and unistrut bar. This way of attaching the box permits adjustment of the installation, and is recommended, as it is also flexible to mount.

Purpose of Smoke Curtains
Main purpose for the usage of smoke curtains is to either contain or control the smoke from rapid spread to occupants and cause more hindrance to the emergency services, than the actual fire.
Smoke Curtains can be programmed to Gravity Fail-Safe. It is a safely feature of our product.

Smoke Curtains is a glassfibre coated on both faces with a temperature resistance inorganic aluminised polymer system.
